As most can see, I'm not too big on the whole journal thing. Makes me wonder why I ever really started this thing.

Okies... my monitor died on me yesterday. Funny thing that. Went snap-crackle-pop and went kaputski. Was only a few years old, but I guess I just wore it out. Pity... I kinda liked it. Anywho, went up to Fry's today and picked me up a new one. Set me back a good chuck outta my paycheck, but now I have a new, slightly larger, albeit white monitor. Sucks they didn't have the blacks in stock or I woulda gotten that. But color's not a real problem so long as it works. (And after a little adjusting, it works quite well, thankyouverymuch.)

Well, I did manage to put a little work into OEW today. Just a little, but better than nothing I s'pose. It's now sitting pretty 'round the 2570 mark, which is getting there. Should be a while before the finished product is released though. Looks like it really will be a Hallowe'en release.

Well, saw the new previews for Halo2.

Holy. Freakin'. Crap.

I wish I had an Xbox now...

Lots of things look super cool: the Scorpion, the Covie Beam Rifle, the Elites. Some things don't: the Brute gun, the Pistols (Magnums). Though they didn't have any shots of my beloved Sniper Rifle. What gives?
Ah well. I'm sure the Sniper will retain its sex appeal and be truly, "God's Gift to Gamers."

Compy decided to get SP2 put in today. Don't know if there have been many changes in the system, but so far I haven't see anything that would be a problem.

On advice from my beta, I've been on a bit of a vacation from writing for the past few days. I can't really say I was writing before that, but at least now I can be honest. OEW is going along well enough though. I'd say it's sitting pretty around 3/4ths done. Looks like it's gonna be put out around my initial deadline of Halloween. Funny that. Work, no matter how much or little, always seems to take as long as it is until the deadline.

Mostly boring today, as usual. I did try out a new(ish?) Greek place for lunch though. Pretty good actually, but not as good as Niko Niko's. Too bad they're currently renovating. Hope they open up soon and not wait until the Greek Festival. Probably not.

Was in Atlas Park the other day. Decided to waste time so I entered a costume contest. Turns out I was runner up for the guys!
Yay!

Moral of the story: the Superbabes are awesome. And my hero has a tight butt.

Well, I finally took that little step. Not much to really look at, now is it. No, but hopefully as time goes by, I'll have more and more to put into here. As it stands, look forward to more.
